The simple act of getting started can often be the top hurdle that faculty face in writing manuscripts for publication. Dr. Vogel shares some of the highlights from her workshop on this topic in today’s show.
Please note that some of today’s discussion is from Dr. Vogel’s previously published commentary piece written by Dr. Vogel and her colleagues’ Jim Gould and Rafael Luna. The piece is called Writing Well: Lowering the Barriers to Success. It appeared in Nature Immunology in August of 2014.
Dr. Vogel held the position of Director, the Professional Development Office, Johns Hopkins University. She was also previously Program Director of the Reproductive Medicine grant portfolio at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her previous faculty development snippet episodes include:
