About the Presenters

Dr. Skarupski has been the host of this podcast since its debut in 2019 and serves as Associate Vice Provost for Leadership Development in the Office of Faculty Affairs at UTMB Health in Galveston, Texas. She is a tenured Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics, at the John Sealy School of Medicine, as well as in the Department of Epidemiology in the School of Public and Population Health.

Heather Brod, who is no stranger to our podcast, is an executive coach and consultant. Prior to branching out on her own to pursue full time coaching, Heather was the Executive Director at the Center for Faculty Advancement, Mentoring, and Engagement at Ohio State University’s College of Medicine in Columbus.
