Wendy Ward, PhD, ABPP, FAPA, joins us for today’s edition of the Faculty Factory Podcast to discuss mentoring programs and some of the different models available for institutions.

Dr. Ward serves as Director of Interprofessional Faculty Development at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She is also Associate Director of Professional Wellness, a clinical psychologist and Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UAMS.

There are many different models for mentoring programs. After listening to this discussion with Dr. Ward, we hope you might gain a better idea of what mentoring program could best fit your institution.

As you’ll hear on today’s episode, Dr. Ward is a strong contributor to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Faculty Affairs (GFA). She has helped provide important information on mentoring programs within the GFA’s robust lineup of toolkits for faculty.
