How Faculty Can Better Deal with Conflict

Listen now:

Dr. Jones

Linda Dillon Jones, PhD joins the Faculty Factory Podcast this week to discuss how faculty can better deal with conflict.

This is another Faculty Development snippet episode of the Faculty Factory Podcast.

As a friendly reminder, I introduced this Faculty Factory “snippet” concept on an earlier podcast episode. The snippet episodes aim to deliver faculty development content to all faculty members while on the go.

We are hopeful that with finding time for anything “extra” these days becoming increasingly difficult, faculty can learn from these snippet podcasts while commuting, exercising, etc.

Dr. Jones is a Senior Faculty Development Consultant in the School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. She previously served as the Interim Assistant Dean for Faculty Development at Johns Hopkins from 2011 to 2013.

This is the second time Dr. Jones has joined our podcast, you can read about her first appearance on our podcast, and listen to it here:

Today’s snippet episode focuses primarily on how faculty can find more productive ways to either avoid conflict outright, or better deal with it when it inevitably finds us.
