Lauren E. Benishek, PhD, an organizational psychologist, joins us for today’s edition of the Faculty Factory Podcast.
Dr. Benishek serves as Assistant Professor in the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.
Productive procrastination, building habits that lead to a “healthy relationship” with your email inbox, and the importance of scheduling fun meetings on your calendar are some of the topics we chat about on today’s show.

“We take psychological theory and we put it in the workplace,” Dr. Benishek said.
As she describes it, her role is to make workplaces better environments for the folks that operate within them.
